Mr. Young is a founder and Managing Principal of Nafis & Young Engineers, Inc., and has been actively involved in the practice of Civil Engineering since 1970. His area of specialty is Municipal Engineering and Public Works Administration supported by over 15 years direct experience as Town Engineer and/or Public Works Director for various municipalities throughout New England.

Mr. Young's specific areas of expertise also include sanitary sewer design; street design and reconstruction; utility design; storm water management systems; recreation fields and facilities; marinas and passive land uses.

Mr. Young is Principal-in-Charge of projects within his area of expertise.
